The Dashboard

The Dashboard offers an overview of internal and market data. Built highly intuitive to give the right information at a glance. The information is displayed in 4 different tabs with different views:

  • Dashboard (statistics cards)
  • Daily View grid
  • Monthly View grid
  • Fmonthly grid
  1. Settings section has the date picker and the Pick-up selector pined to its bar. When clicking anywhere on the Settings bar, additional settings are revealed.
  2. The additional settings are:
  • Compare to” date picker allows the user to modify the default period (STLY) for comparison.
  • Segments” section offers the possibility to display data only per Market Segments (all or particular ones), Channels (all or particular ones) or Room Types (all or particular ones). Refresh button must be used after adjusting the settings in order to display data according the newly defined settings.
  1. The available tabs: Dashboard, Daily View, Monthly View and Fmonthly View (if Fiscal Year option is enabled).
  2. KPI Cards (statistics cards)

Dashboard Tab

KPI Cards

Within the cards, the user can check the evolution of the most important KPIs:

  • Occupancy ADR (OCC)
  • Revenue (Room REV)
  • ADR
  • RevPar
  • Pickup
  • Market Occupancy

By default, all cards are displaying a 30 days’ evolution for the selected date, in comparison with last year performance, from the same perspective with DoW correction.

Guest Rating

Guest Rating Section displays the subscriber’s hotel booking.com reviews vs. its compset for: Location, Comfort, Staff, Cleanliness, Value for money, Facilities and Free WiFi etc.

It also displays the total number of reviews and the average guest rating for all categories.

By clicking on the compset list on the right, Competitors can be disabled so that the graph focuses only on the desired ones.

Ecommerce

OutPerform can display Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking information, so that the hotel representative can easily correlate sales data with website usage data (sessions, bounce rate, traffic etc.).

Ecommerce Statistics is not displayed by default. The hotel must have an active GA account and has to be set up. Please contact the support team for set up.

DAILY VIEW TAB

Daily View tab displays data on the reference date and the next 30 days, by default. The period can be extended up to one year in the future, from the date picker.

Data includes the most important KPIs, market data, variance to STLY / LY, Distance to Budget / Forecast, Occupancy Chart (pickup pace and curve), the Recommended rate and its upper and lower bounds and last price sent to the channel manager / PMS.

  1. Settings section has the date picker and the Pick-up selector pined to its bar. When clicking anywhere on the bar, the rest of the settings are revealed.
  2. The additional settings are:
  •  “Pricing column display” – selectors for market data used to choose the channel, PAX and Breakfast (Included / Excluded / Any of the two)
  • “Variance to / Distance to column display” – options to display in Integer or Percentage.
  1. Refresh” button must be used in order to show data after different settings defined.
  • Export” button for exporting the grid with the current settings.
  • Send” button is enabled when rates are selected to be sent. It is used to proceed with the Send rates operation.
  1. The Daily data grid contains the following:
  • OTB values– for SAL, OOO, AVL, OCC, RN, Room Revenue, ADR, RevPAR
  • OCC Chart – including Pickup Pace and Pickup Curve
  • PICKUP RN – for RN, Room Revenue, ADR, ADR DIFF
  • VAR TO STLY RN– for RN, Room Revenue, ADR, RevPAR
  • FORECAST TTL – total RN forecast
  • RECO Master Room-Rate – the recommended rate for the master room-rate. This line includes the Icon for Workers defined and shows details at mouse-over;
  • Lower Bound – the minimum bound of the Reco Rate
  • Upper Bound – the maximum bound of the Reco Rate
  • SENT– last prices send for the master room-rate. Details about the last prices sent can be seen at mouse-over (Time, Rate Change, Rate and the User that sent the rate).
  • BAR / LAR – rate shopped. It can be Lar or BAR, depending on the setting defined in Settings > Basic Tab > Rate Plan Type Displayed. At mouse-over, details about the room-rate are displayed.
  • Compset Median & Shopped rates for the competitor set
  • Market Occupancy – calculated based on the shopped data

The first column of the table contains aggregated data for each line. The “Graph Icon” from the dates line, at the top of the table, opens the Day Inspector screen.

Day Inspector Tab

The Day Inspector screen offers an in-depth analysis of the selected date.

This screen can be accessed from different menus of the application: Dashboard, Timeline, Compset Report, Pickup Report and Pricing Screen and contains the following data:

1. Details about the Recommended Price – Unconstrained estimated pickup refers to an estimated pickup calculated regardless of capacity (i.e .as if you had an infinite number of rooms).For example, if one day in the past we had pickup 5 in the last 6 days but 4 days before arrival the day was already fully booked, that pickup 4 is not the pickup that could have been done that day. The algorithm calculates what the pickup would have been if there were more rooms in the hotel.

2. Main KPI’s of the day: RN, ADR, RECO, Revenue, RevPAR, BAR. The cards include the KPI values and their Pickup.  

3. Recommended Price section. Includes the recommended rate for the master room-rate and for the room-rate dependencies:

4. Comments Field available for adding Internal and External comments. External comments are also sent via e-mail. This is the pop-up window for adding comments:

5. Market evolution graph showing the price evolution of the subscriber hotel and the competitors’ prices and also the Market Occupancy. Includes option to display BAR or LAR rates:

6. Business Mix per Market Segment, Channels or Room types. Shows data depending on the KPI selected in the main KPI cards:

MONTHLY VIEW TAB

Similar to Daily Tab, displays data per month, starting with current month, up to one year in the future. There is also an option to select the desired number of months to display: 1 to 12.

  • Clicking on a specific month, the Daily View is loaded, with daily values for that particular month;
  • Table can be maximized for better view; 
  • Data included is:
    • OTB – SAL, OOO, AVL, OCC, RN, Room Rev, ADR and RevPAR; 
    • Occupancy Chart – including Pickup Pace and Pickup Curve;
    • Pickup for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 21 and 28 for RN,  ADR Diff;
    • Variance to Same Time Last Year for RN, Revenue, ADR and RevPAR. In case there is no HIST data available, the STLY section will display “NA”;
    • Distance to Budget & Distance to Forecast for RN, Room Revenue, ADR and ADR Diff;
    • Forecast Total – the total RN forecasted for each month;
    • RECO – average monthly RECO value for the master room-rate;
    • BAR / LAR Rate – average monthly shopped value;
    • Compset Median and the Compset shopped rates
    • Market Occupancy

Fmonthly TAB

This tab is a copy of the Monthly tab, but the values displayed are for the fiscal months.

It is visible only when the Fiscal Year Option is enabled.
